KUALA TERENGGANU – PAS Election Director Datuk Mustafa Ali has advice the party leadership not to hastily sack members who have joined the Gerakan Harapan Baru (GHB).
He also reminded those who have joined GHB to think about their actions and possible consequences.
“Give them time to nurse their wounded pride and ego. As long as they have not resigned as party members, do not sack them. If they have already left the party or refused to heed our advice, then we can’t do anything to stop them.
“As a senior (brother), I am duty-bound to remind these junior not to fall into DAP’s trap, as GHB is widely perceived as none other than DAP’s proxy,” he said.
Mustafa said DAP is arrogant and the party has always been practice To’Kong politics or an authoritarian.
Citing the hudud issue as example, he said DAP has always been against the Islamic law and wants others to follow them as well.
“DAP has openly told us that if we want Chinese votes, then there should be no hudud. They thought that they have managed to control all Chinese voters.
“Are those GHB members not aware of this reality? If they are, why fall into DAP’s trap some more?,” he asked in a media conference at PAS Terengganu Headquaters here on Wedenesday.
Mustafa said it is also wrong for Pas members to join GHB on the grounds that they were no longer needed by the party after the Pas muktamar last month. He said being defeated in the party polls didn’t meant that their services were not needed any more.
“There are bound to be losers in any elections for party posts. Winners or losers, they remain as the party’s important assets.
“I sincerely hope those who have joined GHB wake up and be mindful of what they are doing,” he said.
